Phase I of the Gateway Program is underway and includes two active projects: the Portal North Bridge Project and the Hudson Tunnel Project. Each is vital to the functioning of the Northeast Corridor, and addresses single points of failure that can have catastrophic impacts on the region’s transportation network, economy and environment.
